Prayer

"When a believing person prays, great things happen." (James 5:16)

Prayer makes a difference!

When we pray we connect with the God who listens to us, loves us and is with us in our situations. Praying for each other is one of the ways that helps us pull together, support each other and become a real community. We also pray for things going on further away from NPR; local, global, anything and everything where God's power is needed.

Whatever's troubling you – for you or for someone else – it matters to God and it matters to us. Nothing is too unimportant.

Here's how you can put in a prayer request:

Prayer Chain

The NPR prayer chain is our way of quickly getting the whole church to pray about something, so if you've got something urgent, this is the best way to go. When you put a request onto the prayer chain, it's sent out by email to members of the church for them to pray as soon as they get it.

To get your request on the prayer chain click here.

If you're a church member and you'd like to receive the prayer chain emails, subscribe to the Prayer Chain.

Prayer cards

If you're around NPR you can fill out a prayer card and drop it in the box in the foyer. These are collected on Sunday mornings; some are prayed for in the service and afterwards all of them are put onto the prayer chain.

Here's how you can get prayed for in person:

Sundays

There's a prayer ministry team who are ready to pray for you over anything during or after any of our events. You may be given the opportunity to get prayer in the service; if not there's always a chance after. Just grab a leader and they'll be able to help you out. Don't go away wishing you'd asked!

Small Groups

These are a great way to get all kinds of support and prayer through the week.

Meetings for prayer:

Sundays
Prayer before the morning service at 10.00am - this is where the action is!

Thursday mornings
What a great way to start the day! Everyone welcome - it doesn't matter how long you can stay, just come and go as works with your schedule.
