Sharing life together

Church membership is more than access to information. It is a covenant commitment to Christ and to one another, as part of a gathered Baptist church. Together, we seek to live under the authority of Scripture, follow Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit and share the good news of God’s grace in word and deed.

We will not all participate in the same way or at the same level in every season. Membership is not about constant activity or earning our place. Our place is given by grace. It is about belonging to Christ, belonging to one another and accepting a shared responsibility for the worship, witness and mission of NPR.

Members’ meetings

As a Baptist church, we believe that every member has a part to play in discerning God’s will for our shared life. Members’ meetings are spaces for prayer, listening to Scripture, honest conversation and shared responsibility as we seek the mind of Christ together.

Care and support

Please tell the Church Leaders if you are unwell, facing a difficult situation, would value prayer or are concerned about someone else. We want to bear one another’s burdens and offer practical and spiritual support.

Care never depends on visibility, activity or money.
